Soccer Game Preview: Polytechnic vs. Chaparral

The Polytechnic Parrots will be taking part in a tournament against the Chaparral Bobcats at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Polytechnic will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Polytechnic took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Chisholm Trail, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Parrots won by a goal and slipped past the Rangers 3-2. Three seems to be a good number for Polytechnic as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Chaparral was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of Southwest by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to Chaparral's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chaparral fell to 2-1-1. As for Polytechnic, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
