Baseball Recap: Roseau Comes Up Short

After flying high against Crookston on Tuesday, Roseau came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Marshall Hilltoppers on Friday, falling 10-1. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Hilltoppers: they've now lost three in a row.

Roseau saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Wensloff, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Eli Kvien also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Roseau's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Marshall, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Roseau is taking a road trip to face off against Sacred Heart at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Marshall, they will take on Warroad at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
