Softball Recap: Rancho Alamitos' Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rancho Alamitos came out on top against Magnolia on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Vaqueros were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Sentinels. The Vaqueros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Alejandra Corona, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base.

The win was the third in a row for Rancho Alamitos, bringing their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Magnolia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Rancho Alamitos and Magnolia will both be playing Bolsa Grande the next time they take the field. The Vaqueros will head out to face the Matadors at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Sentinels will host them at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
