Volleyball Recap: Thornwell Comes Up Short

Thornwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13.

Thornwell now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Batesburg-Leesville, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thornwell will face off against Chester at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they will take on Northside Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
