Basketball Recap: Wellsville Takes a Loss

Wellsville lost against United on January 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wellsville Tigers were outmatched by the United Golden Eagles and fell 53-24. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wellsville now has a losing record at 9-10. As for United, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wellsville has already played their next game (against Conotton Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. United will take on East Liverpool at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. United is facing East Liverpool at the right time seeing as East Liverpool is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
