Football Recap: Kings Knights vs. Anderson Raptors
Kings fell victim to Anderson and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Anderson Raptors on the road and fell 41-0. The Knights have struggled against the Raptors recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Justice Burnam was his usual excellent self, throwing for 321 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 81 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries for Anderson. That's the most rushing yards Burnam has posted since back in October of 2023. Caden Piening also helped out as he racked up 128 receiving yards.
Kings' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Anderson, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Kings will host Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anderson, they will venture away from home to face off against Milford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anderson is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
