South Columbus and Whiteville are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Stallions will take on the Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, South Columbus didn't have quite enough to beat West Bladen and fell 3-2. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Whiteville had to endure an 11-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Red Springs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolfpack have posted since August 27th.

Whiteville's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for South Columbus, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

South Columbus took their win against Whiteville in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stallions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
