Volleyball Recap: Summers County Comes Up Short

Summers County lost against Mount View back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Knights. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 17-25, 25-16.

Mount View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Fowler led the charge by getting 16 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Zoey Rose, who had 12 digs.

Summers County's loss dropped their record down to 6-19-4. As for Mount View, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Summers County has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Bluefield on the 16th. Mount View has also already played their next match (against Van), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
