Soccer Game Preview: Tate vs. Choctawhatchee

The Tate Aggies are taking a road trip to take on the Choctawhatchee Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tate is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Gulf Breeze just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Dolphins. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Aggies couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Choctawhatchee's offense. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Booker T. Washington an easy 6-0 win. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Wildcats are ranked first).

Choctawhatchee's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-2. As for Tate, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
