Williams now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Morehead, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Everything came up roses for Williams against Morehead when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as the team secured a 44-7 win. In that game, Williams amassed a halftime lead of 30-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
