It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Westfield had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Carmel Greyhounds 10-9. The Rocks haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Reese Mahannah was incredible, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. MaKayla Watson was another key player, going 4-for-6 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Westfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Westfield's win bumped their record up to 15-10-1. As for Carmel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-13.

As of now, neither Westfield nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
