Volleyball Recap: Paradise Comes Up Short

Paradise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Durham Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-8.

Zoey Chilton paced Paradise's offense, picking up four kills. Chilton got some help from Cabrie Clarkson and her nine assists. Chilton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lauren McCann, each putting up two.

Paradise's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Durham, they pushed their record up to 25-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Paradise wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Winters on the 9th. As for Durham, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Pierce on the 9th.
