Badin skates past Edgewood with ease

Recap: Badin Rams vs. Edgewood Cougars

The Badin Rams entered their tilt with the Edgewood Cougars with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Badin claimed a resounding 64-34 victory over Edgewood at home. Given Badin's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while Edgewood is ranked 429th), the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Defeat or not, Edgewood got some senior leadership from Rylie Homan who scored nine points along with seven assists and seven rebounds and Drew Swartzel who scored six points along with nine rebounds. Swartzel hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games.

Badin's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Edgewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Badin will be home for the holidays to greet Mercy McAuley at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. As for Edgewood, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Franklin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
