It's playoff time, and Bayside had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Viera Hawks with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 56-39. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Bayside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angelina Spence, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Spence is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Shamora Scott, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Bayside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in ten consecutive matches.

Bayside's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Viera, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

Coming up, Bayside won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Viera does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
