Basketball Recap: Haughton Comes Up Short

Haughton was the 50-47 winner over Sterlington when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers took a 64-50 bruising from the Panthers on Tuesday. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Haughton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sterlington, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Haughton will challenge Southern Lab at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sterlington, they will take on Airline at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
