Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Brossart vs. Ryle

Bishop Brossart is 0-9-1 against Ryle since August of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out to take on the Raiders at 7:45 p.m. Ryle took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop Brossart, who comes in off a win.

Bishop Brossart barely beat Newport Central Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Thoroughbreds with a sharp 6-3 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Bishop Brossart, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Ryle fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Conner on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Ryle in their meetings with Conner: they've now lost three in a row.

Ryle's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-3. As for Bishop Brossart, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
