Preview: Carroll County vs. Grayson County
Carroll County will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Grayson County at Grayson County JV at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Carroll County had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their contest against Patrick County last Thursday 7-0.
Meanwhile, Grayson County had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 0-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alleghany.
Carroll County's win lifted them to 1-0 while Grayson County's loss dropped them down to 0-1. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous match, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
