Basketball Recap: Sheets Memorial Christian Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Sheets Memorial Christian had won three straight home games and Finn Everhart did his part to make it four on Monday. The Sheets Memorial Christian Eagles put the hurt on the Millers Creek Christian Lions with a sharp 64-44 win thanks to Everhart, who went 14-for-28 en route to 31 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. He is becoming a predictor of Sheets Memorial Christian's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 4-1 (and 5-10 when he doesn't).

Aiden McMahan was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Julian Houpe and Elijah McClain certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Houpe went 8-for-15 to rack up 19 points, while McClain posted ten points. The dominant performance also gave McClain a new career-high in rebounds (three).

Sheets Memorial Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Millers Creek Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-10.
