Baseball Recap: Paris Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Paris took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Pittsburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Pirates 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since February 27, 2025.

Paris got a massive performance out of Kedan Adamson, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave Adamson a new career-high. Derek Ellis also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Paris kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Paris moved to 3-15 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Pittsburg, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-14.

Coming up, Paris is taking a road trip to face off against North Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pittsburg, they will square off against New Boston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
