Tazewell is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Lebanon a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Tazewell Bulldogs will welcome the Lebanon Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tazewell fell victim to Marion and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Scarlet Hurricanes.

Meanwhile, Lebanon also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Graham on Thursday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Lebanon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 212th, while Graham are ranked 66th).

Tazewell's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Lebanon, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.
