Softball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh fell victim to Paramount and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Paramount Pirates. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Firebaugh now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Paramount, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Looking ahead, Firebaugh will challenge Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Firebaugh has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Paramount, they will square off against Gahr at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Paramount's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
