Flag Football Recap: Air Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Air Academy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were dealt a 33-6 loss at the hands of the Mountain View Mountain Lions on Saturday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Kadets, who until this contest were averaging 11.93 points allowed.

Nadia Anderson threw for 142 yards and one touchdown. Sienna Clark was her top target, picking up 72 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Edyn Griffis rushed for 43 yards.

The defeat snapped Air Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-5 record. As for Mountain View, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Air Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain View, they will challenge Pomona at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mountain Lions will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games.
