Volleyball Recap: Iola Comes Up Short

Iola lost against Burlington on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12.

Iola's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Burlington, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Iola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Fredonia on the 27th. As for Burlington, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Humboldt on the 27th.
