Volleyball Recap: Thales Academy Apex Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Thales Academy Apex was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Neuse Christian Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans lost 3-0 to the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors on Saturday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Chancellors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Portia Hale had a dynamite game For St. Thomas More Academy., getting 33 digs and six assists. Hale is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Mary Sopp was another key player, getting 12 digs and two aces.

Thales Academy Apex now has a losing record of 8-9. As for St. Thomas More Academy, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.
