South Carroll came tearing into Thursday's matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Walkersville Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Cavaliers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
The final score came out to 25-6, 25-18, 25-8.
South Carroll was led to victory by Kylie Nelson and Natalie Jensen. Nelson had 15 assists, while Jensen had five aces. Those five aces gave Jensen a new career-high.
South Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Walkersville, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
Coincidentally, South Carroll and Walkersville will both be playing Liberty the next time they take the court. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Lions at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Lions will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
