Baseball Game Preview: Grant Park Dragons vs. Cissna Park Timberwolves

The Grant Park Dragons will head out to take on the Cissna Park Timberwolves at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Grant Park lost 12-2 to Beecher two weeks ago. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Grant Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Heldt, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Cissna Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Iroquois West, falling 17-2.

Grant Park now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Cissna Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Grant Park's way against Cissna Park when the teams last played back in March, as Grant Park made off with a 12-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
