Baseball Game Preview: Jordan-Matthews Jets vs. Southeast Alamance Stallions

The Jordan-Matthews Jets will take on the Southeast Alamance Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan-Matthews comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Jordan-Matthews lost 10-4 to North Moore on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Alamance). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Eastern Guilford a 22-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Stallions have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Southeast Alamance pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Jordan-Matthews, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Jordan-Matthews was able to grind out a solid victory over Southeast Alamance in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 6-3. Does Jordan-Matthews have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southeast Alamance turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
