Southridge had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Aloha Warriors on Wednesday, sneaking past 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Skyhawks have posted since May 20, 2024.

Southridge's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-8. As for Aloha, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southridge will venture away from home to take on Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Aloha, they will head out to challenge Beaverton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
