Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Imlay City). Everything went their way against the Brandon Blackhawks on Saturday as they made off with a 12-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Imlay City pushed their record up to 6-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Brandon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Imlay City has already played their next matchup, a 14-4 victory against Davison on the 17th. Brandon has also already played their next contest (against Flushing), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
