Football Recap: Arkansas Takes a Loss

Arkansas extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They lost 49-24 to the Camden Fairview Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Razorbacks of the 68-24 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Camden Fairview, their win bumped their record up to 2-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Camden Fairview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Donta Thrower led the charge by rushing for 109 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Those 109 rushing yards gave Thrower a new career-high. Demarion Robinson also helped out as he racked up 125 rushing yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arkansas will welcome Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Camden Fairview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
