Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Kim/Branson Mustangs 54-18. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Centennial still got an impressive performance from Amaya Garcia, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards. Garcia has been hot, having posted ten or more rebounds the last six times she's played.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Kim/Branson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Coming up, Centennial will head out on the road to square off against Moffat at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kim/Branson, they will face off against Cotopaxi at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
