Howard strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Marriotts Ridge Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Howard never let Marriotts Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-22.

Mckenna Brown paced Howard's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brown got some help from Imagine Peltier and her 32 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Howard's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Marriotts Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Howard will head out to square off against Mt. Hebron at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marriotts Ridge, they will be playing at home against Long Reach at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
