Football Game Preview: Delhi Hawks vs. Mariposa County Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Delhi Hawks will square off against the Mariposa County Grizzlies at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Delhi has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight losses, while Mariposa County will come in with seven straight victories.

Delhi's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Stone Ridge Christian on Friday. They took a blow against the Knights, falling 42-0. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 973rd, while the Knights are ranked 481st).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mariposa County). They claimed a resounding 52-18 win over Modesto Christian. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Delhi better focus on containing Austin Battles and Rusty Bull as the pair were huge in Mariposa County's win. Battles rushed for 39 yards and two touchdowns, while Bull rushed for 90 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

Delhi's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mariposa County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
