Baseball Recap: Lennard Longhorns vs. Brandon Eagles
While Lennard's win against Brandon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lennard Longhorns had just enough and edged out the Brandon Eagles 6-5. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Lennard got a great performance from Christian Skaggs as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. The dominant performance gave Skaggs a new career-high in strikeouts.
At the plate, Mason Menotti and Max Herro did most of the damage at the plate: Menotti scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Herro scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Lennard hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brandon struck out 12 times.
Lennard's record now sits at 4-6. As for Brandon, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
