Football Game Preview: Warner Robins Demons vs. Eastside Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Warner Robins Demons and the Eastside Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. One thing working in Warner Robins' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.

On Friday, Warner Robins beat Perry 33-26.

Meanwhile, Eastside won against East Forsyth back in October with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again two weeks ago. The Eagles blew past Cedar Shoals 42-14. With the Eagles ahead 28-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Eastside's win came from a few key players Warner Robins will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Myles Mims, who rushed for 57 yards and two scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Shaw, who threw for 115 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes.

Eastside was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. They are 5-2 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Eastside is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points on average over those games. As for Warner Robins, their record is now 6-4.
