Football Recap: Parchment Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Parchment and Constantine meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Panthers had to suffer through a 60-29 loss at the hands of the Falcons. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 39-14 to the Falcons when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Parchment's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Constantine, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Parchment will head out to take on Hackett Catholic Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Fighting Irish have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Constantine, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Watervliet at 7:00 p.m. The Falcons will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
