Soccer Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Highland after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Littlerock Lobos by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Lobos recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Highland now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Littlerock, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will welcome Eastside at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Littlerock, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Lancaster at 4:30 p.m. Littlerock is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
