Softball Recap: Sharpsville Triumphs

Sharpsville won the last time they faced West Middlesex and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Big Reds by a score of 13-8.

The team relied heavily on Izzie Candiotti, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Lily Palko was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Sharpsville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for West Middlesex, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Sharpsville and West Middlesex will both be playing Reynolds the next time they take the field. The Blue Devils will host the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Big Reds will head out to face them at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
