Basketball Recap: Leland Comes Up Short

Leland suffered their biggest loss since February 6, 2024 on Friday. They lost 39-15 to the Frankfort Panthers. The Comets have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Leland's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Frankfort, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Leland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Frankfort, they will take on Buckley in a tournament on Monday. Buckley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Frankfort surely won't give up without a fight.
