Austin Prep Academy proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 67) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Fredericksburg Billies 69-66. The victory was nothing new for the Avengers as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Despite the loss, Fredericksburg still got an impressive performance from Austin Greene, who went 7-for-11 en route to 19 points. Davis Lochte was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Austin Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Fredericksburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Austin Prep Academy and Fredericksburg will both be playing Wall the next time they take the court. The Avengers will head out to face the Hawks at 2:20 p.m. on Thursday, while the Billies will play them later in the day, at 7:40 p.m.
