Basketball Game Preview: Elgin Maroons vs. Wheeling Wildcats

The Elgin Maroons will venture away from home to challenge the Wheeling Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Elgin has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 18.

On Thursday, Elgin came up short against Bartlett and fell 40-31.

Meanwhile, Wheeling was able to grind out a solid win over McHenry on Saturday, taking the game 42-32.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 1-26. As for Wheeling, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-22.
