Basketball Game Preview: Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls vs. Henderson Collegiate Pride

Having just played yesterday, the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls will head out on the road to face off against the Henderson Collegiate Pride at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Cristo Rey Research Triangle will head into Tuesday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a blow against The Burlington School, falling 110-9. The Bulls haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Henderson Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 61-28 loss at the hands of Vance Charter.

Henderson Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Cristo Rey Research Triangle took a serious blow against Henderson Collegiate in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 64-32. Can Cristo Rey Research Triangle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
