Soccer Recap: Lutheran vs. Barstow
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop LeBlond, Lutheran was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Barstow Knights. Lutheran better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Becca Unthank, as she scored every single goal for her team.
Lutheran now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Barstow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Lutheran will head out on the road to challenge Bonner Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bonner Springs' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Barstow, they will stay at home for another game and welcome St. Louis Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. in their first game on Friday.
