Volleyball Recap: Tri-Township Comes Up Short

Tri-Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the South Central Satellites. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-6, 25-11.

Dylan Sanchez was nothing short of spectacular for South Central: he had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Sanchez has posted over his last five matches.

Tri-Township's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for South Central, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Township will head out to take on DeMotte Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Boone Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
