Whitwell Came Up Big in Batavia's 35-13 Victory

Starting off the list is Batavia's Nathan Whitwell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Whitwell rushed for 176 yards and four touchdowns.

This year, Whitwell has run in 21 touchdowns while averaging 148.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns.

Anthony Chahino's Big Game Leads Geneva over St. Charles East

Anthony Chahino was instrumental in extending Geneva's winning streak to eight on Friday. Chahino was unstoppable, throwing for 257 yards and six touchdowns.

For the year, Taylor has caught 17 touchdowns while averaging 112.2 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 19.25 receiving yards per game.

Another Batavia player making an appearance on this list is Jake Feller. He picked up a sack, made five total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended two passes.
