Softball Recap: La Jolla Vikings vs. Tri-City Christian Eagles
La Jolla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Tri-City Christian Eagles. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2017.
Jerri Taylor was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
La Jolla's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Tri-City Christian, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.
La Jolla has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 win against California School for the Deaf-Riverside on the 15th. As for Tri-City Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-3 defeat against Canyon Crest Academy on the 15th.
