Benjamin Denton posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out five batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.

Coming up, Denton and Forestview will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Crest at 6:00 p.m. The Jaguars have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since May of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
