Baseball Game Preview: Brashear Bulls vs. Perry Traditional Academy Commodores

The Brashear Bulls will venture away from home to face off against the Perry Traditional Academy Commodores at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Brashear and six for Perry Traditional Academy dating back to last season.

Brashear came up short against Brentwood on Tuesday, falling 13-1. The game marked the Bulls' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Brashear saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan White, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Perry Traditional Academy fell victim to Obama Academy of International Studies and their airtight pitching crew back in March. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 21-0 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Brashear now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Perry Traditional Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Brashear's way against Perry Traditional Academy in their previous meeting back in March, as Brashear made off with a 14-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulls since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
