Basketball Recap: South Forsyth Skates Past Denmark with Ease

There's no place like home for South Forsyth, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by Denmark to the tune of 72-27 on Friday. The War Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Denmark, too.

South Forsyth's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-6. As for Denmark, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.

South Forsyth and North Forsyth will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Denmark will take on Forsyth Central in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsyth Central has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
