Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Beats Heritage for Their 15th Straight Win

Liberty Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. Everything went their way against the Heritage Pioneers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9, 25-19.

Emily Cook paced Liberty Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cook got some help from Kenstin Phelps and her 15 assists. Phelps was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Liberty Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Heritage, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Liberty Christian will face off against rival Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Heritage is set to square off against their familiar foe Jefferson Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
